Another great day was enjoyed by all who attended our second annual Robin Cawthray Cricket Match - Craft & Chapter vs Mark & RAM - courtesy of Kelfield Cricket Club.  The wet weather didn't dampen the spirits and after a close game the Mark & RAM team emerged as the winners (again!).  Then it was back to the Lodge for a superb family BBQ and Debbie's Big Quiz.  £315 raised for Riccall Vikings Under 12s Football Team to help with kit for the new season... a big, big thank you and lots of love from Alison and family, Robin would be so proud.

Stewards' Party - 17 February 2024

A tradition going back many years was celebrated again this year at the Masonic Hall in Selby, and which can only be described as mayhem and mirth in equal measure.  A packed audience watched as the Stewards staged their unique and hilarious tribute to the WM at St Germain, W Bro David Morton.  They cheered and laughed along with David in deciding whether he had met the criteria to be raised to the heavens after his exploits of playing cricket, driving an ambulance, giving driving lessons, delivering a baby, playing the organ, and leading the singing.  A big 'well done' to all concerned in what was another fantastic and memorable night.
